Karma Schopp is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, World Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Pro Figure Model and fitness writer. When she’s not on the competition circuit, she trains and works out with her fitness clients in Aurora, Colorado.
In terms of how she fell into the world of fitness, in her own words she says:
I’m sure there were many times as a child that I drove my parents crazy with my latest adventures. I was definitely a tomboy. My love of sports started at a young age. Before I even started school, I played T-ball and soccer and took swimming lessons. As the years passed, I progressed onto bigger things such as softball, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, rugby and even cheerleading. Besides those athletic endeavours, there are 3 sports that stand out on my Fitness Resume – Olympic Style Weightlifting, Kickboxing and Figure competitions. Within each of those categories are passions at which I’ve excelled.
Since her first show in 2005, Karma has taken off. And today, she credits her work with trainer Obi Obadike to be a source of her success along with support from family and friends. She earned her Professional status in figure modeling after the 2009 WBFF Alberta Championships, where she placed first in the Figure Tall Class and the Overall Figure Title.
