"You can have great abs, great physique, money in the bank and have all the wisdom in the world, but if you don’t have the ability to share it with people then it means absolutely nothing." Obi found his love for fitness through sports. He is a former top Division I sprinter at Cal State Fullerton and is considered one of the fastest men in the school’s history. Obi was the school record holder in the 100 and 200 meters and 4X100 meter relay, was named Athlete Of The Year and received All Big West Conference honorsâ€â€ÂÂÂÂTWICE. After suffering hamstring injuries during college, he got involved in sports modeling. Being a natural athlete allowed him to succeed quickly. In a little over a decade, Obi now has starred in 12 national commercials, more than 15 national print ad campaigns and graced the covers of seventeen fitness magazines. His most notable commercial is for Gatorade. He beat out over 100 fitness models and athletes for this spot. Although fitness is very important to Obi, education is also important and Obi has earned two Bachelor’s degrees and a Master’s degree. On top of all of this, Obi is one of the three most published fitness models in the world.
