2009 World Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Champion and MusclePharm contributor Rob Riches was born in London, England. These days, he keeps busy with work and competitions in both the U.S. and Europe. Since fitness is one of his passions, Rob has created videos and social media sites promoting his workout and fitness knowledge. He also hosted a series of shows for Sky TV.
From childhood forward, Rob loved sports and was competitive. However, during a mountain bike race as a teenager, he injured his shoulder during a bad fall. Once he could work out again, he joined a gym and discovered weight training. Rob never looked back, soon becoming a certified fitness instructor.
As active as he was on the gym, Rob hit the books, too, graduating with honors from The College of London with a degree in Video Production.
In 2005, Rob picked up a sponsorship and soon started appearing in advertising campaigns that ran in magazines like Men’s Health. Today, on the competition scene, some people call him Hollywood due to his tan, clean-cut looks. Some title wins include Musclemania World and being the featured athlete in magazines like Muscle and Fitness, Ironman and Men’s Workout.
Competition, modeling and helping others discover their own belief in strength and fitness are the things that keep Rob busy these days.
